Percy Fernandez has been documenting nature, wilderness and habitats in Asia, Africa and South America with a view to understanding loss of biodiversity and the importance of local communities in conservation. He has huge personal and expedition experience in the high Himalaya in India and Nepal reaching remote regions by foot. He is the founder of Mountain Adventures. A former journalist, his stories and pictures have been published in newspapers and magazines in India and elsewhere. Percy was the expedition photographer for the NCC Everest Expedition in 2013. He is editor of the inaugural edition of The Best Asian Travel Writing published by Kitaab in 2020 from Singapore.
