Best of Both The Worlds
Tanzania, seen from Kenya
The mountains are beautiful and fragile. It is an abode for locals and their home. Communities who inhabit mountain regions live in harmony and take care of the habitat. But over the years, glaciers have disappeared and biodiversity has depleted because of the rising temperatures around the globe. Mountain regions are more sensitive to global warming than other terrestrial spaces. A greater degree of caution should be exercised when travelling to the mountains. The idea of sustainable tourism, regenerative travel and working alongside local communities will help solve the problem perhaps.
